Standard Gowns

MedPro Defense® offers a range of isolation gowns that address the needs of healthcare workers.  Spunbond fabric for basic visitor and nurse protection, multi-layer gowns for higher risk procedures and polyethylene gowns for impervious protection for short procedures are all available with different features and colours for added institutional flexibility.

All of these gowns are available in universal and extra large sizes to provide comfort, protection and broad range of movement for healthcare personnel.

Coated Isolation Gowns

Lightweight Protection and Comfort
Provides high fluid protection and comfort.

Coated material
Made from polypropylene and polyethylene coated together.

Wrists
The gowns feature comfortable latex free knit cuffs with, or without, thumb loops.

Low-linting
Coated isolation gowns are very low linting.

Note: These gowns are constructed of a fabric that offers high fluid protection, yet due to seam construction and identification requirements the gowns do not meet the AAMI PB70 Standard.

Polypropylene Cover Gowns

Polypropylene Cover Gowns
Gowns made from polypropylene offer basic cover protection.

Gown features
Gowns feature ties or tape closures at the neck and waist ties along with elastic wrists.

Low-linting
Because they are made from polypropylene, the gowns are naturally low in lint.

Note: These gowns are constructed of a fabric that offers basic cover protection.

Polyethylene gowns

Impervious Fluid Protection.
The gowns are an apron-style, over the head, with waist ties and thumb loop wrists and a half-back.

Gown features
As cost-effective protection, polyethylene gowns are generally used in short procedures or for short amounts of time. Their half-back design allows more breathability.

Note: These gowns are constructed of a fabric that offers impervious fluid protection, yet due to the style of the gown (half back) and identification requirements, do not meet the AAMI PB70 Standard.
